Endometriosis Awareness: Shedding Light on a Silent Struggle
Share
Endometriosis is a condition that affects 1 in 9 women and those assigned female at birth, yet it remains widely misunderstood and often dismissed. As someone living with endometriosis, I know firsthand the daily battles that come with it, the chronic pain, fatigue, and emotional toll that can make even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. That’s why raising awareness is so important.
What is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it, leading to inflammation, scarring, and pain. This tissue can be found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other organs in the pelvis, sometimes even beyond. Symptoms vary from person to person, but common signs include:
-
Intense period pain that goes beyond typical cramps
-
Chronic pelvic pain
-
Pain during or after sex
-
Gastrointestinal issues like bloating and nausea
-
Fatigue and low energy
-
Fertility challenges
Despite how common it is, many people with endometriosis go undiagnosed for years, often being told that their pain is just a “bad period” or that it’s “all in their head.” The lack of awareness and research funding means too many people suffer in silence.
Why Awareness Matters
For those of us living with endo, awareness isn’t just about facts - it’s about validation, support, and pushing for better healthcare options. It’s about breaking the stigma around chronic pain and ensuring no one feels alone in their journey.
This is why I’ve decided to incorporate endometriosis awareness into Scented Studio Co. My business isn’t just about creating beautiful, natural candles, it’s about fostering a sense of comfort and self-care. And now, I’m taking it a step further with the launch of our Endo Warrior Self-Care Bundle, designed with love and intention for anyone needing a little extra care on their toughest days.
Introducing the Endo Warrior Self-Care Bundle
This curated bundle is all about relaxation, relief, and a reminder that you deserve to prioritize yourself. It will include:

A portion of the proceeds from this bundle will go toward organizations that support endometriosis research and advocacy because we need real change.
